Experience

Christine began her journey as a Social Worker engaged with at-risk youth, homeless and severe and persistent mental health communities. She then went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work and became a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist and began exploring the many aspects of working with trauma. Christine became interested in learning how to apply a somatic lens to healing and deeply connect with the body and nervous system through Somatic Experiencing (SE) training. She also fell in love with mindfulness, learning how to slow down and to bring presence to the felt sense in the body, heart and mind. As Christine followed her passion, she began to learn about energy healing and decided to become a Reiki Master. She realized she loved learning about spiritual teachings and felt more complete when bringing spirituality into her healing space. Christine also incorporates indigenous teachings, from the Mexica tradition, into her work to help others honor the Earth and connect with sacred ceremony to celebrate life.

Education

Christine Lord received her bachelor degree in Social Work form St. Cloud State University in 2001 and her Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine University in 2009. She also became a Somatic Experiencing Practioner in 2018 and studied Reiki in London, England in 2019.
