William Moulton Marston, a psychologist and interestingly, the creator of Wonder Woman comic wrote a book in 1928 called ‘Emotional of Normal People’. In the book, he presented a model for DISC. He did not provide a DISC personality test or personality assessment but based on his model, a lot of people on the internet came up with suitable tests that help normal people understand human behavior. Marston classified human behavior or personality profile in four types namely, Dominance (D), Influence (I), Steadiness (S), and Conscientiousness (C).

DISC personality types
DISC theory is a non-judgmental way of assessing personalities. It should be noted that the theory doesn’t say anything about mental disorders or behavior disorders. It only assesses the behavior of “normal” people. Generally, the four personality types, are represented in a circle. There are a total of 12 types of possibilities that arise from it. To see which personality you are among these 12, you have to give a test. You simply have to answer a few questions and submit them. There are many assessments available online. 1. Dominance (D)

These people are mostly perfectionists. They believe in constantly improving themselves. Such people continue to work hard until perfection is achieved. Sometimes, this personality style people can overlook or avoid others’ needs.
Such people have a behavioral style which is mostly lightheartedness. Such people always have many friends and they empathize with everyone around them. These personality types also like to avoid conflicts and fights. These DISC types are easily approachable.

These people are modest and reliable. They generally just do the work and don’t interact much with new ideas and developments. Such people are generally very calm and peace-loving. They make look lonely but in reality, they just enjoy their own company more.
These kinds of people speak less and are self-controlled. They need others to involve and engage with them as they won’t make the first move themselves easily. These people may not have a huge social circle but would have a few really solid friends.
